A video clip which was posted online shows the moment some women who are members of the Indigenous People of Biafra, were seen removing and throwing their wrappers on the ground for the embattled IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu to walk on.
The footage emerged on Tuesday, June 20, as some IPOB members visited their leader at his hometown in Isiama Afara, Umuahia, the Abia state capital.
While speaking to a correspondent, a member of Kanu’s family who spoke on the incident, said the women saw the visit as an opportunity to honour Kanu for his efforts towards the freedom of Biafra.
